Will someone say it?

She beats her students up.

(The ones she dislikes).

And she has gotten away with it, again and again.

What a mockery of the whole idea of education.

forgiveness.

I cannot forget.  I will not forget.  Forgiveness, yes, but not at the expense of memory.

I still feel anger, not sadness or forgiveness, for those in Higher Education who live a living lie.

M is also for the memory of beauty once glimpsed if not known.

Gangbang is not the same as gang rape (II): Follow-up of my review of yelp.com

What will the kids think up next?  Or is this just part of a fad and were they simply acting out what others older than them do in the virtual world of the Internet?

5 Juanita High students charged with attempted rape of classmate

Five Juanita High School students have been charged with second-degree attempted rape in an attack on a special-education student.
The five students are accused of participating in a bullying incident that occurred in a student locker room of the Kirkland school on Oct. 22, 2014, according to the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The five, who are 14 and 15, were arrested in October in connection with a sexual-assault investigation.
According to court documents, an 18-year-old special-education student was lured into the shower area of the Juanita boy’s locker room and then held down by three of the boys, who then pulled down his pants and underwear while another boy attempted to sodomize him with a broomstick. Witness accounts and text messages leading up to the event suggested that the incident was planned.
“Although the incident does not appear to have been sexually motivated, the charges reflect that the attack involved an attempted or threatened penetration with a broom handle while one student was restrained by several others,” the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office said in a news release.
The Seattle Times is not naming the defendants because they were charged in juvenile court. All five have been expelled from school. The students face sanctions ranging from commitment to the state Department of Juvenile Rehabilitation to a sentence in a local detention facility, according to the prosecuting attorney’s office.
Two Juanita football coaches were placed on administrative leave in November while the Lake Washington School District continued its investigation of the alleged assault.
