"Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

Whenever my tuxedo cat is aggressive, i.e., attempts or actually bites, hits, or scratches me, I catch myself instead of retaliating.  

The words "I am 15 times his size.  It would be unfair, and mean besides, to do so" float into my mind.  He is innocent.  He has no intentional or unintentional desire to harm me."


BUT EVEN A VERY GENTLE AND LOVING CAT WILL DRAW ITS CLAWS AND FIGHT FOR ITS LIFE WHEN IT IS ATTACKED BY A BIGGER, MORE POWERFUL ANIMAL.


I have the hardest time accepting it when I hear about cats being hit by SUV's going at 80 miles an hour.
